Without thinking of cuisine as gender-specific, let’s face it, some dishes are more likely to please the woman in your life than others. Come and learn how to make some of those as a couple, to then cook them on your own as a special surprise for Mother’s Day. On the menu: Soft Boiled Farm Egg Salad; Salmon with Sweet Peas and Hollandaise Sauce; Spring Vegetable and Goat Cheese Frittata; Asparagus and Ham Cannelloni; White Wine Cocktail; and Strawberries and Champagne Sabayon.

You will make dishes that are great to make on the grill or pack in a cooler, such as Farmers’ Market Slaw Dogs; Asparagus Pasta Salad; Roasted Pork Sandwich with Peach Chutney; Grilled Hanger Steak with Cold Béarnaise; Chicken Paillard with Mushroom Salad; Oatmeal Cookies; and Rhubarb Sandwiches.

This menu will guarantee that you’ll never be short on visitors, as you prepare Smoked Salmon Pizza; Pancetta and Butter Bean Pasta; Halibut with Sweet Peas and Mushroom Sauce; Lamb Shoulder Roast; Glazed Spring Vegetables; Goat Cheese and Roasted Veggie Sandwiches; and Lemon Mousse with Strawberries.
